ADMISSION IN THE 2011/2012 ACADEMIC SESSION: 6TH-10TH SEPTEMBER, 2011
All candidates who choose Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria as their first choice university and have satisfied the following prerequisites are eligible to attend the screening exercise which is scheduled to take place on 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th September, 2011 at 8:00am each day: -
Candidates who scored 180 and above in UTME for Science based courses;
Candidates who scored 190 and above in UTME for Arts, Social Science, Law and Administration;
All candidates who fall within the cut off point in (a) & (b) above must have the prescribed subject combinations in the UTME examination required by their proposed courses of study (information as contained in the JAMB brochure for UTME candidates).
There will be no admission into MBBS/Nursing Sciences programmes. However affected candidates may sit for the examination in any of the following programmes: Agricultural Science, Veterinary Medicine, Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Microbiology, Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
N.B: THOSE WHOSE UTME SUBJECT COMBINATIONS ARE NOT CORRECT NEED NOT COME AS THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE.
Candidates who qualify for the screening exercise as listed above are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only.

2011/2012 UNDERGRADUATE PROVISIONAL ADMISSIONS – BATCH AFollowing the Babcock University screening exercises for Batch C of Tuesday August 9, 2011, the candidates listed below have been offered Provisional Admissions for the 2011/2012 Academic Session. Please note that this offer could be withdrawn if at any time it is discovered that a candidate does not meet the stipulated requirements.
Beginning from Friday, 19th August, 2011, each candidate is required to:
1. (a) Report to the School Officer of his/her chosen school with the following documents:
(i) Two (2) copies of 2011 UTME result slip;
(ii) Four (4) recent passport-size photographs and three (3) copies of birth certificates
(iii) Original and three (3) photocopies of SSE result or its equivalent for scrutiny;
(b) All candidates who are awaiting results will be required to sign an undertaking to present acceptable SSE results or its equivalent on or before matriculation holding Thursday November 24, 2011.
2. Report to the Head of Department for academic clearance and to the Student Support Service Unit for psycho-social and medical screenings.
3. OBTAIN from the School Officer, a SECURITY-ENABLED “AUTHORITY TO PAY”;and proceed to any of the designated banks (GT Bank, WEMA Bank, First Bank & Zenith Bank) to purchase a Bank Draft for NON-REFUNFUNDABLE FULL OR PARTIAL SCHOOL FEES in favour of BABCOCK UNIVERSITY. Kindly add N10,000 to your fees for both medical and psycho-social screenings. Please visit wwww.babcockuni.edu.ng for lists of specific course fees.
4. Present the Bank Draft to the University Cashier and obtain a receipt.
5. Present the receipt (2) copies at the Registry (Admissions Office) for a letter of Provisional Admission into Babcock University.
6. This offer of provisional admission which is "FIRST-COME-FIRST-SERVED”, will lapse at 2.00 p.m. on Monday, August 29, 2011; if the school fees and the N10,000 medical and psycho-social screening fees are not paid on or before that day.
PLEASE NOTE:
1. Any candidate who by-passes any of the above processes runs the risk of denied admission
2. Candidates below sixteen (16) years old will not be considered for admission.
3. Candidates whose JAMB scores are below the JAMB minimum cut-off for

POST-UTME SCREENING EXERCISE FOR 2011/2012 ACADEMIC SESSION
Update: Please note that the application period has been extended till midnight of Tuesday 23rd August 2011, also remember that you can send all related complaints to us from our contact page at http://www.uniben.edu/contact make sure you select the PUME category before sending the message.The University of Benin (UniBen) Post – UTME Screening Exercise for 2011/2012 academic session will take place on Friday 2nd September 2011 and Saturday 3rd September 2011 in designated centres within Ugbowo Campus of UNIBEN. All candidates are expected to be seated, latest, one hour before the stipulated time for the screening exercise. Only the candidates who chose UniBen as First Choice and scored 200 and above in the UTME are eligible to participate in the Screening Exercise.
Method Of Application
The following are the procedures for the 2011/2012 Post – UTME Screening applications. All applications will be done on the e-campus portal http://ecampus.uniben.edu.ng between Monday, August 8th, 2011 and Tuesday, August 23rd, 2011.
Stage 1:
Log on to http://ecampus.uniben.edu.ng and click on ‘ONLINE APPLICATIONS’ link on the site to display the Application page.
On the Application page, click ‘REGULAR’ under programme to display Payment Details.
On Payment Details page, click “Click here for PIN” (Please note the PIN and keep it safe, this is what you will be using to gain access to your application details).
Click on ‘Start Application’ after the PIN has been generated and noted by you. The next page that will display is the JAMB Details Page.
Enter your UTME Registration Number in the Jamb Registration Number box and click the ‘Search’ Button to display your UTME information.
Select your second and third choice courses. Click Next to display the Upload Passport Photograph Page. Each candidate will be required to upload on-line, a 1” x 1” COLOUR Passport photograph with RED background in JPEG format only. NOTE that the photograph uploaded will be the only valid ID for all admitted candidates throughout their stay in the University of Benin.
On the Upload Passport Photograph Page, click the ‘Upload Passport’ link to select your passport photograph. Please preview and confirm that your passport being uploaded is your correct picture as uploaded passport cannot be changed after uploading. After selecting the picture, you are required to wait for it to fully upload, then click next to display the Payments Slip Page
Click on Print Slip to print the Payment Confirmation Slip and take it to any of the University designated banks.
Stage 2:
Proceed with the printed Payment Confirmation Slip obtained in 8 above to any of the banks listed below nationwide:
Access Bank PLC,Oceanic Bank PLC, Bank PHB PLC, UBA Bank PLC, Fidelity Bank PLC, Unity Bank PLC, First Bank PLC, WEMA Bank PLC, Intercontinental Bank PLC, Zenith Bank PLC, Diamond Bank PLC, FCMB Bank PLC, Guaranty Trust Bank PLC, Eco Bank PLC, Afribank PLC
Present the Payment Confirmation Slip to the e-Tranzact desk officer and pay PUTME screening fee of one thousand Naira (N1000.00) and obtain an e-Tranzact payment confirmation receipt immediately.
Stage 3:
- After payment, proceed online to complete your application procedure.
- You will be required to enter your Application PIN (obtained when you started your application in 3 above to gain access)
- After the Payment Slip Page, click Next to display your Screening Schedule Slip which has the schedule of your screening test including the date, time, venue and other instructions. You will be required to come to the venue of the screening test with your Screening Schedule Slip. Click Next to display the Finish Page.
- Click on ‘Click here to view/Print Submitted details’ to view and print a summary of your application. If you are sure you are done with the application, please click ‘Close Application’ to finally submit your application. You will not be able to edit any part of the application once your application is closed. Only closed applications will be attended to.

- Four Figure Table (where applicable)
- Writing materials (HB pencil and Eraser).

SCREENING FOR 2011/2012 POST-UTME EXERCISE FROM 13TH TO 29TH AUG, 2011
Further to the earlier notice of 20th July, 2011 as published in the National dailies, all affected candidates and the general public are hereby informed of the details of University Post-UTME Screening Exercise for Admission into various COURSES/PROGRAMMES. The Screening is Computer-Based Test (CBT) in Use of English, Mathematics and General Paper. Candidates are advised to be familiar with the basic use of computer to enhance participation and performance at the screening.
A. ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES
All candidates who scored 200 and above and have made UNILAG their FIRST CHIOCE Institution, in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) are eligible for the screening. In addition, the candidates must possess five (5) credit passes in relevant O’level subjects including Mathematics, and English Language at ONE sitting. Candidates awaiting results are also eligible. Only candidates who will be sixteen (16) years of age on 1st October, 2011 are eligible to participate in the exercise.
